NASA's new Multiband Uncooled Radiometer Instrument (MURI) features a novel bolometer that detects infrared radiation without a cryogenic cooler, greatly reducing the cost and complexity of dispatching infrared radiometers into low-Earth orbit.

The 2023 Solicitation for the Instrument Incubator Program is now open as element A.53 of the ROSES-23 omnibus announcement. Notices of Intent to propose are requested by February 16, 2024, and proposals are due April 2, 2024.

ESTO’s Wildfire Climate Tech Challenge competition has opened. Part of the Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) Incubator initiative, this competition invites students and employees of MSIs to address the escalating issues caused by wildfires. Successful participants will have the opportunity to join a startup incubator program and compete for a prize of $100,000.

ESTO is pleased to announce the 2023 Earth Science Technology Forum (ESTF2023), June 20-22 in Pasadena, CA.

Due to budgetary constraints,  the Sustainable Land Imaging - Technology 2022 Solicitation has been withdrawn from (will not be solicited in) ROSES-2022. This program may be solicited in ROSES-2023, but at this time proposals are not solicited.
