Welcome
The 2017 Earth Science Technology Forum (ESTF2017) was held June 13-15 in Pasadena, CA, and drew over 130 attendees from industry, academia, and government.

Hosted by the NASA Earth Science Technology Office (ESTO), this annual event showcases the wide array of technology research and development related to NASA's Earth science endeavors, including remote sensing instruments, platforms, components, advanced information systems, sensor web technologies, communications, automation, and modeling. ESTF2017 was also intended to promote collaboration and networking among technologists, scientists and mission planners and facilitate a more complete understanding of Earth sience technology needs.

An opening plenary address was given by Dr. Diane Evans, Director of the Earth Science and Technology Directorate at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
