Abstract:
The Advanced Technology Land Imaging Spectroradiometer (ATLIS) is a small, multispectral pushbroom imager designed to provide visible through shortwave infrared (VSWIR) calibrated imagery for bands 1-10 of the baseline Sustainable Land Imaging-Technology (SLI-T) Reference Mission Architecture (RMA). ATLIS provides imaging spectroradiometry that meets or exceeds SLI-T RMA parameters with an instrument that has much less volume and mass than the Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager. The intent of the proposed work is to build and test a prototype ATLIS and demonstrate whether this design approach meets SLI-T requirements.
