Abstract:
The NASA Information And Data System (NAIADS) effort is an of a recently established collaboration between DOE Jefferson Lab and NASA Langley Research Center. The project is funded by the ESTO AIST program (AIST-14-0014). The team includes experts in the Earth Science remote sensing, data analysis, advanced software architecture and development, and systems infrastructure. The NAIADS is a Service Oriented Architecture software system, integrated with CLARA data streaming framework developed in Jefferson Lab. The current focus of this project is a novel approach for Earth Science large data fusion via implementing data-Event building in off-line software. We will introduce the NAIADS concept, present progress in development, and initial benchmark results.
