Abstract: We present design, operation and characterization
results from a miniature multispectral imager implemented by integrating a CMOS
imager with a surface plasmon tunable filter (SPTF). Unlike a conventional
multispectral imager that requires mechanical scanning to generate the spectral
data, our imager operates in staring mode. The spectral bands
